Nikon 50 AF v AF-S worth the money?

I am thinking about a 50mm Prime for my D60

Is the difference between the 1.4 AF-S and 1.8 AF worth the extra £180?

I have the 35mm AF-S and really like it but seeing as it's a 35mm digital and therefore a 50mm-ish equivalent am I better going for something else?

I have the kit 18-55 and 55-200. Most of my work is photojournalist stuff and portraits.

The 85mm would be great for portrait work, you can find the f/1.8 for about 230~ secondhand.

This and the 35mm would make a great prime line up.

Also, if you do get the 50mm, it is an equvilant to 75mm on your D60.
