I already own the Nikon 50mm 1.8D lens and i was thinking of upgrading to the 1.8G version.
I went into Jessops today to have a look at the 1.8 G version and test it out on my D3s.
To be honest, apart from the Bokeh been a little softer, I was unable to see any improvement on sharpness.
The reason for the change was due to the the new 1.8G been a little quieter when it focused.
Does anyone have any experience in the 1.8G compared to the 1.8D model
