Nikon 50mm 1.8G

Does anybody use this lens if so, how well is the distortion controlled on this lens? Is there a pinch on edges?

It does a little bit.... but you'd not notice it in the vast majority of cases. How much precision to you need? Shoot raw and it's all correctable by applying a lens profile in ACR or Lightroom.

Mainly for portraits where 70-200 85 have no go, sigma 50 art is awesome and spot hardly any pinch, but comes with a price tag

It's gone with the click of a button. If your shooting portraits I'd assume your doing some retouching anyway so it's really nothing to worry about.

It's for when I'm in a tight spot where 70-200 or 85 can't work any more so 50 would have to come out, il give it blast and see how it looks on post, also frame in Center where there's a less pinch
