Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR1 sharpness

After obtaining this lens to replace the sigma 70-200 f2.8, i quickly do a few test shot in the house to try the optic and VR. Haven't have time to do outdoor or any proper shots yet.

Does the shots below look sharp for handheld slow shutter speed?

All photo below were shot in my bedroom under poor light condition using a Nikon D300.

70mm f2.8, ISO 640 and 1/20sec

Consider i still trying to get use to the VR system where half press focus then VR kicks in and then pull shutter etc.
