Nikon 80-400G

I’m currently running two main bodies the Z8 and a D7200 both are good cameras , I have a range of lenses for both bodies which enables F mount lenses to be used on the z body , one of my lenses is the 80-400G which I find really good , I was tempted to go for the Z mount 28-400 but after some thought have decided to stick with what I have .
Any one else use this lens on either F mount or Z mount and your thoughts if you do ?

I have the Z 28-400mm on my Z6iii as a light walk around and find it excellent it sharp even wide open. I know some people have said its soft, maybe I have just got a good copy.

Yeah that’s like my 180-600 it’s pin sharp
