Nikon AF 28-100mm f3.5-5.6 G

Hi all,

Has anyone had use of the Nikon AF Nikkor 28-100mm f3.5-5.6 G?

Considering getting a new lens but not to sure what to go for.

I dont want to break the bank, and it would be used for portraits mainly, but also want to start some long exposure landscape shots. :shrug:

I have;

18-55 F5 kit lens, which I find is not focusing very well now (good few years old)

Sigma 55-200 F5.6

Nikon 50mm F1.8 E series

If anything, it would become a replacement for the old kit lens

With the crop factor,your going to lose wide angle with the 28-100 lens.

If its was me I would look to replace your 18-55mm with another 18-55mm,if money short.
Or if you can get some more money 18-200mm VR,also out their our the 18-135mm or 18-70mm.

Been having a look around and think Im going to go for the 18-70
