Nikon AF 35-70mm f2.8 D Lens Haze/Fog?? Advice on where to get it Repaired

Hi, Would anyone advice me where to get this lens repaired and how much it might cost.
Also thinking of investing in D7000; would this lens be good with it; if not what is the better option: Nikon 18-70mm or the 16-85mm.

These sell for around £200 prob cost more to repair it.

On a D7k I would probably go with the Nikon 17-55 or the Tamron 17-50
