Nikon AF-S Nikkor 300mm f/4D IF-ED

Hi all

Has anyone got any experience with using this lens? Especially with a Nikon D750, I want to use a teleconverter and i know the 1.4x will work well but has anyone used a 1.7x 0r 2.0x
I dont want to buy the 1.7 or 2.0 if they dont perform well.

I was thinking of trying the 1.7 with my 300mm pf when i get it,decided this was the best way to go for £22 before buying.

Sharp enough with both but the AF speed slows down. Still ok for some things with the 1.7x but with the 2x I would only use it with static subjects.
