Hi all, I have, as you can see from my profile an MB-D10 battery grip on my d300s that I got at a very good price, and a spare Nikon batter that fits inside the grip.

My question is, do I keep the grip on permemently, or is it just used when I want the faster fps for moving subjects?? do you use the grip for everyday photos as it were??

Only you can answer that question, if the camera is more comfortable for you with the grip, then keep it on, if you only want it for the extra 1fps it gives with a D300s then take it off when you don't need that.....
 
If its fits in your bag and isnt causing you any issues then I for one would just keep it on, im getting an MB-D80 for my D80 and I will leave it on all the time
 
I leave the grip on my D90 all the time, it feels too small without it.
You get the benefit of the additional shutter button in 'portrait' mode.
 
Literally cannot use my camera without the grip now, feels like it's missing a major part
