Hi all,
A mate of mine has bought a Nikon D3200 and wants to buy a cheap zoom lens ie a 70-300, he asked me what I would recommend but being a Canon user I said I would ask on here! I find it quite confusing working out which lenses will autofocus on which bodies! Any help would be much appreciated ( budget £100-£200).

Thanks

From wiki

"All NikonNikkor-lenses designated with AF-S (introduced 1996) and the older AF-I (introduced 1992) fully autofocus on these cameras."

Other makes have their own

Thanks for that! What model would you recommend- nikkor or sigma maybe....

I don't own any that length

I'm sure someone with a more dedicated knowledge will be along soon

Depends on budget, Nikon 50-200 VR or 50-300 VR are very good for the money in the £100-£150 range. If you want to spend more then the Nikon 70-300 VR or Tamron 70-300 VC (which is supposedly a little better than the Nikon) are both very good.
