I note this bridge camera has an 83x optical zoom giving the equivalent of 24-2000 mm.
How do they do this? Is it because the sensor is so small that lens extension is much less than on a 35mm camera equivalent or a combination of this and using less of the sensor (like using an FX camera in DX mode)?
