A local camera shop has a D2X for sale for £700 (secondhand) and the body looks in mint condition, is this the normal sort of price for this camera second hand?

As i just thought it would be worth alot more than £700 as I know how much they used to cost brand new.
 
oooh buy it quick! Since the D3/D3x came out they've plummeted in price but that's still pretty damn good...

If I didn't have what I'm using now I'd be more than happy to still be using the D2x - lovely camera - especially once you get the firmware update installed...
 
That is a good price when you consider what D200 + grips are going for. It's more of a camera and bullet proof. I loved my D1x and would certainly change the D200 to a D2x
 
If its in decent nick then its a bargain but if its a minter its a steal...........get it
 
I have a D2X, fantastic camera. As above, check the actuations and go for it.
 
If it has the latest firmware it should take it to near D3 spec or thereabouts but less the FX but I dont need or want FX so its a fine camera if you dont need full frame
