yes still have my d3 don't want to sell it but gets very little use but still love it
 
Hi , 1st question

Is a sencor clean a DIY job or a pro job , I did see a mirror lock up option in the menu

Also what file size is best to be able to print 10 x 8 prints

DIY job but not guaranteed to work well as with all cameras.

Use biggest RAW file size possible unless there is some reason why you wouldn't.

DIY is pretty straightforward, but you can pay someone else to do it if you prefer to.
 
OK are all cleaning kits equal or can someone recomend a good one , I will have ago myself

Took mine into WEX for a free clean, great job and offered a trade in value I was surprised with! D3 is still an excellent body, has my 70 300 FL on it all the time for cracking crisp well balanced shots Love mine

OK Thanks I have 3 , 2 read 5 and the other reads 3 , so I will hold fire on buying new
 
Bought a well used one 4/5 years ago to try FF. Its my goto body for portrait stuff, the D500 covers everything else.
