nikon d300/s and EN-EL4a use

longer lasting batteries, you get 8fps with D300, 9fps with D300s.

It's a nice upgrade. The offbrand batteries work fine, though do also need offbrand charger.

2 batteries and a charger will set you back about £55, ebay + 7dayshop.

didn't notice it really, but it could have a little bit I guess :/ didn't use my D300's long before getting it. Check what nikon says, I doubt it does :/

Bought a Nikon PDK 1 for my D300 and never noticed any AF performance increase with it. Definitely worth the price IMHO for the comfort and FPS increase as well as the EL4's last a life time.

there's a slight increase in speed approx 1 frame per second more with the enl4a, watch out with third party battries i have found they don't always work.

Do you have a link to the £55 set up please, also looked on 7dayshop, found a battery but no charger for it, many thanks.

Pointless for D300s to gain 1fps. Just use the MB-D10 with the EN-EL3e! Bit better for D300. Awesome for D700 though..

charger was £25 on ebay... can't find it now, iirc there's a uk source too.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Battery-Charg...CamBatt_RL?hash=item2559ccb3b3#ht_2098wt_1118 looks bout right, battery should work :/

Thanks for that link Dave, i did see that one, but i was a bit concerned about the DC 12.6V and the 1000Mah, as the Nikon is 11.1v and 2500Mah, although having said that i'm no electrician so not that clued up on it :D, i just thought the voltage should be the same as the Nikon original.

 I thought that with the MB-D10 & EN-EL4a in a D300s it was 8fps - as its normally 7fps with the EN-EL3e's... If it is a case of getting 9fps then I want a EN-EL4a :naughty:

You don't, 8fps is the max.

D300 - 6. D300s 7. D700 5fps.

AA batteries. 7.7fps.
en-el4/a - 8fps.

I thought it was.... As after what had been mentioned I checked on Nikon's site and states the same d300s+MB+EN4a= 8fps...
