i have had the camera for sometime now really love it, it is an amazing camera very good for new people coming into the photography world. i have one question about my camera thow if you go on to the menu settings there is an option called "Image comment" what does this do and what would it do if i put some text in and set it as on?

please help thanks

You can use this to embed any comment in to the EXIF data already embedded in the image. Most people, myself included, put a copyright comment in I think. Those that bother anyway. ;) So for mine it could be 'copyright redhed17 2010' for example. I'm not sure you have the option of using the copyright symbol '©', but if you do, use that instead of the word copyright. ;) I think you need to include the year to be used as a copyright as well, but I may be wrong. ;)

We use one of these for training and this option brings up an alphanumric screen on which you can, if you have nothing better to do, type in anything you like and it'll come out in the metadata which you can view in post processing software but it won't imprint on the image.
