Nikon D300s arrived...I feel dizzy!

Arrived last night. Had a quick look/feel :love: and I'm very impressed so far.

It feels very well constructed and intuative to use.

It's a bit (very) daunting with the number of buttons and a 400 page manual. My D3000 had about 20 pages.

Can't wait to use it and feel it's time to tell my wife; especially after she say the box it was delivered it.
 
Congrats on the camera, it is an excellent bit of kit, Enjoy.
 
Ah, I remember that feeling when I got mine, it's a quality bit of kit alright. Even though I traded it in for a D700 I still miss it, went to New York in February with it and got some great pictures. Going up in the elevator in the Empire State Building another tourist clocked it and remarked "now that's a serious camera", I tried to think of a witty retort but "certainly is!" was the best I could come up with. Enjoy the D300s!

I bought mine used off of a member on here, who passed on loads of helpful hints and tips.

PM me your email addy and I'll forward on what I've got. I've also just taken delivery of the D300s Digital Field Guide, which looks quite useful

Oh, and I still don't know the camera fully, and I've had it a few months!

I left work early to have a play and I'm like "What's this do, what's that do..?"

I have a real desire to get to know the camera and use it t it's potential.
