Hi guys,

I seem to have acquired some relatively large chunks of dust on my sensor which I can see when looking through the view finder from a distance, they dont appear to affect output image quality but I 'think' I can notice them on a grey/white background (almost like little bits of discolouration in the photo in certain circumstances).

How does one go about cleaning these?

Cheers

If you can see it through the viewfinder it's not on the sensor. Get a rocket blower, hold the camera lens mount down and try blowing the dust out. Assuming it's not just where you look through, the dust will be on the mirror or the focusing screen -- don't touch either.

If you are sure you can see marks on the photographs you can put the camera in sensor cleaning mode (mirror up) and use the blower in the same way.
