Nikon D500 memory card problem..

Any ideas, I’ve done all the fixes suggested on you tube. But they haven’t worked..

The memory card I have been using for months, suddenly has an -ERR-code on the display. I’ve tried a blower on the slot, a format of the memory card on the laptop & even a different memory card..

I’m definitely not technically minded.. anyone suggest anything else to try…

ERR is a camera error code.

It’s likely it’s a camera issue rather than memory card. Have you tried all of these?

Have you tried an XQD card in the other slot?

Yes, that works.. unfortunately the SD doesn’t… I’ve tried several cards that work in other cameras. Think it’s back to the manufacturer, unfortunately..

Then sadly it’s probably needs the last option which is to send it in for service/repair. Best way forward would be to speak to nikon or a nikon approved repairer like fixation.
