Nikon D5000

I have been offered a low millage Nikon D5000 with kit lens, grip, three spare batteries and sd card. 4700 on the shutter.

Would this be any good for a back up? I normally shoot Canons but this seemed really nice bit of kit, solid and images seem good for kit lens.

is £250 a good price?

Based on current eBay sales it seems about average, definitely not a bargain.

Take some test shots - I liked my D5000 but is underexposed by a couple of stops consistently.
