Hello everyone.

I've decided that I'm going to go for a Nikon D5300 for my first DSLR camera. The one I'm planning to get comes wit h an 18-55mm lens. I was thinking of possibly getting another lens with it. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good all around one for a beginner? Unless the one that comes with it is good enough for now?

Nothing wrong with the 18-55 as a starter lens, once you've done a year or so with it, you can see where you might like to go from there.

If you want something longer to complement it, look into the Nikon 55-200, 55-300 or 70-300 - listed in pretty much price order.
