Took advantage of the Currys price mixup to get a D60 for the girlie as a birthday present. Currently own a D700 and D3 so was expecting the D60 so be quite poor; however what a great camera it is!

Optically very nice and very easy to use. The back screen gives great information for someone who is learning how to use a dSLR for the first time.

Best bit ... it looks so silly with a 400 f/2.8 attached!

I took the lens back to work so will take a photo when I'm next in but I did this weekend also put a 450D on one of our 800mms; that was truly ridiculous!
 
Put my mate onto the price mix-up; he put a D60 in his cart, his browser crashed, and when he got back on it had jumped another £100 or so. Gutted...

I only got hold of mine thanks to a kind member of AVForums.
 
Yeah, its a really nice camera - very capable backup to a Pro body, and in its own right a super lightweight travel camera.

Always loved the IQ from this little body!
 
I've used a 300mm f/4 AF-S and a 300mm f/2.8 VR on my D60 :lol:

Its the way to go - cheap body, but great lenses :D
