I have noticed when I convert a D600 RAW photo using either ViewNX or adobe DNG convertor the results are LOADS better than when I convert using photoshop RAW.
I realized that the photoshop RAW only partially supported the D600 RAW so I updated to the new beta version which supports the D600 properly and the results are the same.
I did not change any settings in Photoshop RAW just opened it and processed the photo (no noise reduction etc) but the end results were no where near as clean and noise free as either DNG convertor (which uses the same beta RAW as far as I can tell) or ViewNX both of which produce lovely clean photos
Am I missing something obvious ... probably knowing me :bonk:
