Hi,

Not sure if this is in the right section so apologies if it's not.

I have a Nikon d70 and having some issues. The back screen has stopped working and when you take a photo it will not save to the card.

Any ideas on what this could be or how to fix it?

I would try a reset and reinstall the latest firmware.
 
Probably old age! (And I'm not being rude, the D70 is in anything but the first flush of its youth.) I would use this as an opportunity to upgrade to something newer. Second hand D300 and D7000 are about £300 now (dealer price) and are a real upgrade from the (good in its day) D70. I dare say that the problems could be rectified but probably not cost effectively.
 
As Nod & Gary have said, the D70 is past its use-by date and I've seen several reports of them failing over the last couple of years.
