Does anyone know why Nikon think it's a good idea to have the results of Matrix metering dependent on which focussing mode is selected? In both AF modes the selected focussing point affects the metered exposure, in Manual mode the focussing point has no effect. Literally, on a tripod, moving the focus mode switch gives different meter readings.
Rather annoying - if I wanted spot or centre weighted metering I'd select it. Any way to make Matrix unaffected by the focussing point in AF?
