Nikon D700 Vs Canon 5d mk2 OOOP'S

So i feel im going to cause some upset here Canon vs nikon.
Well ive had my 7d a few months now, and dont get wrong its a great camera but im just unhappy with the noise levels it produces, ive been thinking of trying out fullframe and been looking at these 2 bodies, the canon 5d mk2 and the nikon d700. Changing systems doesnt really bother me to be honest, willing to give anything a try once Looking at doing alot more landscape, portraits, airshows and odd bit of wildlife. So who recommends which and why, pro's and cons of each and sample images would be great???? No arguments please i want to keep this as civil as possible

That's true. However some people prefer the build of the D700 and 5D2 in comparison to the newer D600 and 6D. Others may disregard the D800 due to the high resolution and resulting large files and the 5D3 might be too expensive at £2,300 (UK cost).

For some people the D700 and 5D2 are still viable options.

I can't comment on the Nikons as I haven't used them but I am happy with the results from my 5D2. However after reading numerous reviews and checking samples, if I had the spare cash though I would upgrade to the 5D3 and if I was a Nikon user it'd be the D800.
