I'm new here and my first post so apologies if this has been asked before. I want to buy the Nikon D7000 but have read numerous accounts of the sensor getting oil splashes (oil flick) from the either the mirror assembly or shutter. Has this been addressed by Nikon in the new batches or it still an ongoing problem?
I am drawn to the Nikon because of its reported excellent performance at high ISOs but cannot risk spending all that money if the problem still exists?
My other choice would be the Canon 7D?
Thanks in anticipation.
