Beginner Nikon D7200 Firmware update?

I've just received a new Nikon D7200 (grey import).
I've heard of firmware updates but not quite sure what they are or do. Is it worth me doing this on my new camera and if so, how do I go about it?
 
Its quite easy once you know how but can be fussy at first, it explains it on the website not so great.

The basic of it is you download the firmware, put it onto a SD card, put it in the camera, go to firmware in the menu and click update.

But you fill the battery first and it is fussy about where you put it on the SD card.

Its best to watch a youtube video of it being done.
 
Follow the instructions shown in the link carefully ... and yes, update your firmware.
 
Thanks all. Checked my camera and checked the latest release. Both the same so no need for the update. Maybe should have checked that before posting. lol.
