Hi,

Can anyone advise whether you can have continuous focus in live view. I have the D750 to back button focus on AF-C but when i switch to live view it focuses once and i have to repress the BBF to refocus.
Cant find anything on tinternet or manual

Much appreciated

Rgds

Anyone?

Been through manual and Internet but can't find anything. I may be using the wrong terminology through.

The answer is kinda yes and no.

The AF in LV is different. You have two modes: AF-S and AF-F. You change them the same way as you would normally change focus mode. By default it's AF-S. AF-F is full time servo mode and it'll track something moving.

AF-F isn't amazing at tracking but it's the closest thing to AF-C that you get with LV.

Yes. You can use AF-F (full time servo) for continues subjects in Live View, that will do the job for you.
