How does this recall thing work with imports? Not that I have checked mine!
 
Yep recalls are covered, general warranty isn't.
 
Well thats good news! Maybe I should check it... but its only just come over from HK so would hope its part of the newer ones!
 
Unless you're having problems, I wouldn't bother. Never know what Nikon will do to it and how well it will work when it gets back to you!

I've not sent mine in yet, but had no issue when it went in for the flare recall. I'm waiting til after April though as have a few things I need it for until then. Hopefully it'll have quietened down by then. Will have racked up getting on for 40k activations too so not bad to get a new shutter ;)
 
My imported D750 has a way higher serial than my UK one had and the one in classifieds!

Maybe currys was sat on stock for a while?
 
Maybe the serial numbers aren't sequential? Might be different by region for example, making it easier to highlight where the goods were meant for originally

Not for me, sorry. I think for fog to work you need some strong contract, trees near the front or something identifiable in shot
