Did the light room focal length thing and it seems I use a range of focal lengths between 30 and 70 the most.
I have a few at 85 but I think that was more just down to being lazy and not moving bit closer lol.
Mostly shot at f4 and again this has been due to limitations of the 24-85.
oh didn't realise you had had that, was that on the d7000?I've had the 18-35 and its a nice lens. Very light too.
Imagine f2.8...

Blancpain Sprint GT - Brands Hatch. by Paul Babington, on FlickrNice shots Paul. Love yhe pan. Have you cloned something in #2? I can see a funny line just above the right hand side of the spoiler.
Could be where a car rejoined the track, either way they're awesome shots. I need a long lens!I cloned some dust spots in #1 but haven't touched #2 apart from adjusting the sliders in LR, I'll have a look at the original later to see what I can see.

Yes it does look like two lines there, I'm at work now so will definitely check the original later.
I dithered over buying one for ages and now find that I don't use it much for my karting photos after all ! It is great for car & bike racing though and does fit in my camera bag.........just.
Both cracking shotsTalking of primes, here are a couple of Bentley shots from Brands on Saturday using the VR f2.8 prime handheld, the pan was at 1/30th and with the AF working surprisingly well (the VR was off for this shot)
Clearways exit pan.

Wants £900 for it!!!
Makes mine seem like a bargain at £700 then...
I ended up with both the 70-200 and VR 300, after starting off with a D3100 and 70-300 , we all bow down to GAS in the end !Having just GASsed, I think a long lens will be next on my list, or a 70-200
ThanksThat last one is quality @snerkler
