Nikon D850 3d tracking performance

Before purchasing the D850 I am currently using the D810 and ask if anyone experience with 3d tracking performance between the two. So which one is significant better or about the same? Any comments would be very appreciated!!

I haven't used the D810 but I have just swapped from the D750 to D850 and I can't see any major difference in 3d tracking. Even with face detection set the focus point doesn't stay on the face most of the time. I still prefer to use single point.
