Nikon D90 confusion - which ISO?

Hello,

If I'm shooting outside in bright, bright sunshine I assume that I should use ISO 100. However, the D90 has a base ISO of 200.

If I try lower the ISO, the next stop down is the cryptic 'Lo1', not ISO 100. So assuming yellow sun and blue sky, which setting should I use?

Thanks.

ISO200 is the base ISO of the D90's sensor. The Lo settings are artificial settings and best avoided unless you absolutely need them as they might cause IQ issues.
