nikon d90/sb-600 query?

can someone please tell me if the flash mentioned will work fully automatically with my d90, or do i need a commander unit (su-800)?

in the menu options, go to the built in flash options, and select 'commander'. you then can adjust the levels, or FEV, of the built in flash, and channels A and B for CLS.

thing is, i would if i could remember where i put it!
only had camera approx 3 weeks, and lost the manual already.:bonk:

will now look for the best price for the sb-600.

you can download the manual from nikon website and keep it on your computer as a pdf...similarly if you want to buy some new kit it's always worth downloading the manual first to check compatibility.
