Nikon d90 verses canon d50

Hi All
i had to sell my d90 that i loved due to a divorce and am now looking for a replacement. Needs to be Canon as i know people with lenses etc that i can use until i can afford my own.
Now my budget is very small, read as small as possible but i can not get on with the size of the 450/550d bodys.
So as you can pick up the d50s for about 300 second hand i was thinking about one of these. Problem is i no very little about the Canon side of things. Looking at the reviews etc they seem to mention these in comparison with the d90.
So am i on the right track :shrug:

Canon 50D is a similar age to the D90 I believe and meant to be a cracking camera, certainly larger than the 450/550 style body.
I read in AP last week that it was one of their "hot buy" used camera buys, I'd certainly consider one, and it certainly at the time would have been the Canon DSLR which was pitched against the D90.
 
I think you will find the canon 50d are going for about 400 - 430 I'm looking am the present as well

I think your right about the price and after doing a bit more research i think its whayt i will get when funds are available:)
 
Why not look out a for a 40d. Cheaper but very similar to the 50D
 
Bad luck having to sell - if that ever happens to me I can only imagine the **** when my wife discovered what it was all actually worth (or worse still what I originally paid for it all....!)
