Nikon E Series lens comparison

What is the concensus about the quality of the following lenses please. I'm thinking of getting the 35mm f2.5 or the f2 version or possibly the 28mm f2.8 to use on my Nikon F301 and I'm struggling to make my mind up.....again.:bang:

Any thoughts?
