Nikon EN-EL4

Have anyone in here used third party EN-EL4 battery and charger on their D3 or D700? If so which one do you use?

When I got my D700 in Spring I asked about and the consensus was the 3rd party chargers were junk, and the recomended batteries where no longer available. So based on that I went used and got 3 used Nikon batteries and charger. They still arent' cheap, the charger especially, but at least you know what you're getting.

Might be worth seeing if there's a spares of repair D2 or simlar with a charger and battery on ebay. They do come up cheap enough to go that route at times.

I see what you mean, the battery is not that bad in terms of price but is the charger that cost tons.

I've got 3x EN-EL3 atm, consider i don't shoot high burst, i might as well buy another EN-EL3 and another charger isntead.
