Yes
I have a set of Jessop branded Nikon F801 extention tubes (given to me). However, no matter what I do the D90 just isn't interested and only shows - FEE - on the top display. (I realise it would be manual focus)

Is there something that I can doo or are these just no compatible with the D90.

I am a little shocked that these cost £175 new

Have you tried it on Manual (M) mode, or aperture priority? The D90 supports AI lenses (which is what the tube should be recognised as) so it should be okay.

Yes - I had carefully studied the maunal and figured that it should. But tried manual and other settings?

I have a polaroid set of extension tubes which depending on the order they are connected to give me a no lens attached but swapping the order resolves the issue. Have you tried swapping them round, cleaning connections, etc?

Intersting idea about changing the order, but I'm wonder if the issue is that there are no contacts :(

Oh well, would probably need a 50mm prime to put on the end which I don't have at the moment.
