Nikon F mount G lens to Canon EF camera adaptor

anyone used one of those? especially the one for Nikon lenses without aperture ring such as this one

i have a Sigma 12-24mm full frame, but Nikon F mount. although can be bought on Canon, i thought it would be less hassle if i buy this adaptor? worth a try?

would TTL metering still work? only AF won't work and have to set aperture with the adaptor tab?

Sell the Nikon mount one,and put toward a Canon mount one

It may be worth the hassle for Nikon 14-24mm but not the Sigma. Sell and buy and you might make a tiny saving. Or perhaps you will decided on another lens...

Its a shame I have other priorities, otherwise I'd have taken the 12-24 leaving you to buy the Canon.I suppose if you sell it and buy a 2nd hand Canon fit, you run the risk getting a duff copy.
