Hey all,

Got a Samyang 85mm 1.4 left from when i had my nikon, i still want to use it on my Canon body now. I could sell it and buy the canon version but it seems like a lot of effort, and the canon ones don't come up very often.

I'm looking for an adapter, seen a few on ebay, but wondering what everyone thinks?

Only adapters I know (novoflex) are about £150-70 - so prob not worth it.
As for £4 ebay specials- if they work then worth it- at £4 worth a shot anyway I guess. Not like your losing AF.
 
Should work fine. You could also pay a little more for an adapter with an AF confirm chip to aid manual focussing a bit if you want (these are around £20).

I don't see any reason not to, it's not like you're losing any functionality over having the canon mount version.
