Afternoon all ,
Just wondering if anybody has ever used one,was it user friendly/easy to use?.A friend has found her dads one in the loft & she has said she might sell it if its going to get used :).Have been looking at getting a film cam for a while, looks like it could be a good start?

Has a few lenses & a flash as well, which all conveniently fit my d40 (y)

None of those lenses will autofocus on your D40. The 70-210 is quite nice if you stop down to F8 (I have one I am about to eBay having replaced it with a 55-200VR) but I don't rate the 35-70 much and no idea what the other one is (vivitar?)

The 501 is a cracking little camera, nice, easy intro to film. The lenses will certainly do to start off with, good luck and enjoy.

get it,use it,70-210 is a great lens if a little heavy, the 35-70 has a very loose manual focus ring,i used to put a wide elastic band over the ring and body when used on my FN2n body
