Hi All

I'm looking to buy one of these but before spending over £300 on a lens I was wondering If anyone can give a review on it? any pics of what you've took with one etc?

I've just bought a D5100 Body off mini0ne on here, and currently have a 18-135 lens and a 50mm f1/4. I'm doing my mates wedding in August and he wants a group shot and some full length shots of the venue.

Opinions on this lens for the job?

its a great lens, good contrast & very sharp BUT it does have a lot of distortion (it is a fisheye after all!). not sure i'd want to use one for people shots at a wedding though. have a look at the kind of images you can get with it on the flickr group pool here - http://www.flickr.com/groups/738505@N23/pool/

Ah cheers. I'm really stuck for ideas on which lens to get. I want something that will get a nice group shot (about 20 people)

what about the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM?

CS5 has a pretty good lens correction profile for the 10.5, so it is possible to straighten out the shot quite well - providing of course that you allow sufficient space around the 'content' to allow for the removal of distortion without also losing part of the 'content'.
