Nikon Fit 12-24 recommendations please.

I am looking for a WA zoom lens to complete my line up and suit my needs for architectural and cityscape photography.

I use a D300 as my main body and a D90 as my second body.
Currently I have;

Nikon 300mm f4 AF-S ED
Nikon 80-200 f2.8D AF ED
Tamron AF28-75 f2.8
Nikon 35mm f1.8 AF-S

Any advice is more than welcome.....
 
Nikon 12-24mm if you have the money
Tokina 12-24 if you don't.

Both great lenses and optically very similar; the Nikon is just a bit better quality in the build. Both AF very well but for architecture, that won't be an issue.

The Tokina 11-16 is also a consideration but obviously, it doesn't have the same focal range.
 
Sigma 12-24mm is superb on a crop body as well as full frame and probably the single best choice for architectural work as theres no distortion at 12mm

Has anyone used both the 10-24 and 12-24 .....?

Sigma 12-24 on my D700 and Sigma 10-20 on my D200. Both lens give great sharp images.

It probably is tbh, I use it for my car stuff for my rig shots, just about all my landscape is with it too! :)

I have been offered a very lightly used mint example one of these for £525....would you consider that a worthwhile purchase Rob?
 
I think I paid £510 for mine from MPB photographic! If you can get it a touch cheaper I think it would be a good buy! :)
