Nikon flash on Ebay

I would personally go for a unit that has full manual control ,the one you've seen will bounce and zoom and that seems to be the limit if you were to use it wirelessly.

Andiphoto, you might as well go for one of the ones that FITP sells - click here for the flashes and here for the triggers. Lots of people rate them on TP and they're a good price (plus, Graham is good to deal with, unlike some fleabay sellers)....

Those cheaper triggers are great value for standard, close-by off camera flash work and the flashes are supposed to be pretty reliable and have full manual control.

If you don't fancy those flashes then any of the old Nikon SB24/25/26/28 flashes, although the later numbers are selling for a premium these days, what with the popularity of 'strobism' - expect to pay about £60 for an SB24 or SB25 and around £80 for an SB26. Nikon SB28s are about £100+ but are brilliant, although they lack the optical slave that the earlier models (24/25/26) have.
