Hi,
Can anybody tell me if I can get nikon rangefinder /focus confirmation dot to work with t2 accessories.
I have seen t ring adapters with "dandelion" chip for sale on ebay by pixco etc, the description contradicts itself though.
I am working in manual focus mode with my d7000 and d3100 when mounted on my telescope for birding etc.
It would be handy to have the dot which works perfectly with my old ais lenses.
Does anyone have an idea how this rangefinder system works ?
Functions okay with old ais and third party lenses, but doesn't with my Barlow lens and telescope.
When I try to focus with t ring and attachments linked to scope, I see < > in the lower LCD of the viewfinder.
"No lens attached"
The dandelion chip is supposed to emulate a lens , but is my t ring missing an engagement lever or something ?

Would a t ring with chip work the rangefinder function ?

Thanks guys.
