This is just a "putting the feelers out" post at this stage, to see if there is any interest, if there is I will put some photos and prices etc. etc. and a full add in the appropriate section of the forum and abide by all the forum rules and regulations.
I have a Nikon D300s, with 5 lenses (click my profile and see my camera bag for all the details, an SB600 flash and all kept in an Olympus E-System Pro Backpack, the camera has only 1517 accuations/clicks, since new 2 years ago, I purchased it from Wex photography (the old camera warehouse), I took out all the extended warranty and bits and pieces and still have all original boxes and caps, cd's and everything else that came with the camera, there are filters (which have never been opened), Nikon battery grip with two original batteries, remote control leads and lots of bits and pieces I will not be using again, and the lot has been wrapped up in cotton wool all the time its not being used, I really do look after my stuff, it has never been out in the rain or the damp and only used on a few occasions.
I am looking to swap (plus money either way) for a Sony Nex 5/6 or 7 with extra lenses if possible (but its not a deal breaker) I don't know the exact value of my kit yet, I would have to do some research on the internet at what its all selling for.
The reason for the sale/swap is that I think the Nikon d300s is a bit to much for me right now, I've still got hell of a lot to learn and I'm not using this camera to its full capabilities, and if I'm brutally honest with myself, its to much camera for me and after my daughters wedding on Saturday its hell of a lot of kit for me to lug around.
If anyone could put some suggestions as to a value of this gear that would be very helpful to me, and much appreciated, also I would prefer not to split anything at this stage as I want to do a swap for it all if possible and not left with one or two pieces that will sit in my house gathering dust.
