Nikon image authentication system cracked

Well done to them for cracking an encryption which could put the evidence in some criminal trials into doubt. :nono: They must be very proud. :bang:
 
It seems that they discovered that the system COULD be cracked, and by cracking it proved that past evidence may have been tampered with. Seems Nikon need to re examine their encryption....

If Elcom have done it, others may have too.

Elcomsoft have a good track record with this kind of thing. They usually give the manufacturers plenty of advance warning (months) before going public to allow them to respond.
