Nikon j1 battery grip

Hi folks,
Newbie on the forum, but you seem a friendly bunch!

Am looking to extend the battery life on my j1, can't find a battery grip for it. Can anyone recommend anything else?

A spare battery?

I can't imagine a battery grip will ever come out for something like the J1 given it's all about compactness and Nikon don't even offer grips on the d3xxx or d5xxx cameras.
 
Problem is, if camera is mounted on tripod I need to disturb it to change the battery. I have spare batteries!

Was looking for an option where it wouldn't need to disturb things.

....a spare battery is definitely the way to do things; maybe even a couple.As said, the J1 stands for many things a battery grip goes against.

If it's any help, I can get 750-1000 shots out of a V1 battery as it's the same as the D7000's. If longevity of shooting is key, though, SLR's still outclass CSC's.
