Nikon J1 thoughts

Whilst I await canons rumored mirrorless announcement later this month, I would appreciate some thoughts on this camera. I can get a twin kit for £439.99 after cash back. I was very tempted by this. Is the camera worth it? I want something decent so I don't have to keep swapping from my 50-500 when I want wide angle shots.

I recently picked one up and so far have been very impressed with it. Both the kits zooms are of a decent quality and deliver decent images. The AF is very good for the sort of camera (not up there with my DSLR but as good as other mirrorless cameras I've tried). Image quality is very good, the menu system takes a little getting used to but it's fine. My only issue is that I keep forgetting that the lenses mount the 'wrong' way!

Sounds good then. Has anyone tried out the slow motion video and the 60fps mode. These are a couple of features I like about rhe j1.
