Nikon Lens Pen Cleaning Kit LP-NC001

That looks very much like a set of Nikon branded LensPens which (in non Nikon form) can be had significantly cheaper if you look around! Work very well IMO. Odd that Nikon still recommend that you don't try to contact clean your sensor but are happy to sell you the kit to do so! (Look closely at the closest pen in the set - you can see it reads ***klear)

Just looked again and in another photo it actually reads FilterKlear rather than SensorKlear. Wasn't aware that they made one specifically for filters too - I use a LensPen for that (or a pre-used SensorKlear!)

Its a standard but very over priced lenspen pro kit with a nikon badge total rip of.
 
It is not a rip off it is called marketing. I bet most of you pay over the odds for products badged to a brand you trust. We all do, especially when it comes to clothes.

I had a friend who worked in the fashion trade. He supplied shirts to a large supermarket under their own label, the same shirts were supplied to a well known high street fashion retailer with their label on. In the supermarket they were £9.99 retail. In the fashion shop they sold them for £49.99 - they cost him under £2 each. The fashion chain did not pay much more for them trade than the supermarket!

Heheh! You know I got the same email as OP and was very cynical, but this gold ring may just tempt me! As for the beach towel... Seriously?! :lol:

It may be marketing but that doesn't stop it being a rip off. Not as much of one as your clothing example, but still a rip off.

I might be wrong and that shiny band may really be gold but somehow I doubt it.
