I want one...


im looking for something that rivals the 50 1.2L for flare. I don't mind if its a manual focus thing from the 70s.....

being new to Nikon kit im not as familiar with the lenses as I am canon....

budget...hmmm....not a lot im afraid....

Is there anything you recommend that is known for its flaring....

The original 43-86mm is supposed to be very good/bad for flare depending on your viewpoint!
 
any further feedback re this?

Looking for a 50mm prime Nikon fit that has similar flare to the canon 50mm 1.2. Don't mind how old it is, as long as it produces flare....

Any thoughts?
 
I dont know what the Canon is like as ive never used one, but my old Nikon 50mm f1.4 AF-D used to produce quite a bit of flare.
 
the 85mm 1.8D shows a fair bit of veiling flare in the right light...
